Our team was tasked with creating a tool to assist a large US seating manufacturer with their prototyping process.

We created this highly customizable seating model with more than a dozen points of adjustment. This product can mock up any chair geometry, allowing for designers to test their seating concepts for real life comfort.

Our team designed and built this assembly from the ground up, relying on flat cut CNC plywood and a prefabricated cam-clamp and track system. This system allows for smooth movements and infinite adjustability.

We also included a series of laser cut metal inserts to accurately assist in measuring angles of each individual part location, making it simple to record and replicate results.
